One to get to know the city center and take it easy (especially the first day after the flight you arrive), another to get to know the surroundings of Ubud, and two more to make excursions to the north of the island and the east.

There are also family rooms, which are great if you are travelling with children. This way the children will have their own room next door and the bathroom is shared.

Nunggalan Beach is two kilometres from this wonderful hotel. The location is very good and quiet, with private parking and a beautiful pool. The cabins are amazing, they look like something out of a fairy tale . Some even have views of the pool.

It is certainly the ideal place to spend a few days of rest in a completely idyllic hotel. By the way, the hotel is exclusively for adults .

Gravity Eco Boutique Hotel

In fact, there are two resorts, Gravity Eco Boutique Hotel and Gravity Suites, separated from each other by just two hundred metres. You can enjoy them in either bungalows on the top floor with views or in suites on the ground floor .

With spectacular views of Kuta Beach, this modern hotel has top-notch rooms . Modern, spacious and some with a balcony. Perhaps, for my taste, it is a bit cold, in the sense that it is the typical hotel you can find in Europe, it does not have the typical Balinese decoration .

What I like most about the hotel is its panoramic infinity pool . It is without a doubt one of its strong points. From there you can marvel at the sunset while you have a quiet drink. It has a restaurant with a variety of gastronomic options.

MAMAKA by Ovolo

This hotel in Kuta is also an interesting option for staying in Bali . It is located near a shopping centre and several restaurants. The rooms are spacious and modern. The common areas are very nice and it has a gym.

The best thing about the hotel is undoubtedly the rooftop pool . It is an infinity pool with views of the beach and surrounded by hammocks and Balinese beds. Next to it there is a bar where you can eat or have a drink while enjoying the sunset. Near the hotel there are several entertainment and party venues, if you are interested in going out.

This is the hotel option we chose in Nusa Penida . It is an accommodation with cabins around the pool and the garden. In addition, the cabins have a small porch where you can have breakfast in peace.

The location of these cabins is quite close to the port of Sampalan . Although I admit that it is a bit far from the liveliest areas of the island, especially at night. But nothing that can’t be solved with a taxi or motorbike, especially for going out to dinner.

Mambo Beach Resort

If you prefer a hotel in Nusa Penida with a better location, this is definitely a great choice. The hotel has large rooms and has a pool in the center that is amazing. The rooms on the ground floor just have to open the bedroom door to get to the pool .

The hotel has a very good atmosphere, it has a restaurant with good food and at dusk there is always live music . We stayed for one day and we loved it. You can go to the restaurant for dinner even if you are not a hotel guest.

Reynten Hill Resort

Another great option in Nusa Penida at a really good price is this hotel. The best thing about the hotel is the views from the pool to the Agung volcano , as long as the day is clear, of course.

The hotel is made up of five small wooden houses, but they are very charming . And the pool area with infinity pool is ideal. And the price is usually quite affordable.
